My two favorite activities are painting and cooking. I paint like I cook. I add a little paint, or hold off on the oil, but it’s always different no matter what. I like to discover new ways of doing things in all aspects of my life.
I started painting in 2010 in Lowell, Massachusetts at Western Avenue Art Studio. Being part of a community of artists led me to explore painting and learning from other creative people. I paint in the abstract and people ask “What is that? “or “How did you do this?” “What is your motivation?”. It’s very hard to answer any of those questions. Each time I attempt, I discover new aspects of my work.
Painting stretches my thought process and takes me to creative places. Painting is an emotion that sets me free.
